Blue Seas

Hey Lovelies,

What I wore on Saturday? Let me start off with telling you that I wore this outfit to my little cousins communion celebration. I wore the pumps that were featured in a previous post and that I absolutely love. I also loved that the heels becuase it showed the work that I have been putting into my workouts. My calf look so defined...loving it. Today (Father's Day) I went to my parents house like every Sunday. It was a good weekend, hope you guys had one too.

Blazing Weather

So this outfit is very casual in my opinion and in this bipolar weather in Cali, I think its just perfect for it. I actually hate this type of weather....its in between cold and spring like. Mother nature is definitely having some issues with PMS. I am so over it and really want it to start feeling like summer. But any who, I have been watching all these bloggers blog about thrift store shopping and I decided to visit my local thrift store. I actually enjoyed looking through the racks and putting outfits together in my head. I went there searching for a blazer...I got lucky and found a black one. All I need is a couple colored ones.  So the blazer and blouse shown in this outfit were thrifted. The jeans are from forever21, the clutch from Aldo's and the heels, I don't remember.

Color Blocking Outfit

Hey Lovelies,

I have been loving the color blocking trend. So I put one together. The bright colors are so perfect for this sunny warm spring almost summer days. If you want to create your own but don't know what colors would look better then I suggest you use a color wheel. Blues and orange (coral) complement each other. If you follow the color when in a triangle shape...then you, orange and yellow. I spent a week in search for a yellow necklace but I had no luck, so I went with some yellow earrings. Then accesories it with a necklace and a cuff.

Using a color wheel will give you a great color blocking outfit that will please the eye. So have fun playing with colors.

XO, Cari

P.S. Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend.
